The Schoolgirls Super 7s Series debuted in 2025, uniting some of South East Queensland’s most dedicated and high-performing rugby schools. In its inaugural season, six schools competed across five tournaments inspired by the Rugby World Series model — with each event hosted by a participating school. The format provided girls with consistent, high-quality rugby experiences in a competitive and supportive environment.
Building on this strong foundation, the 2026 season expands to include eight schools contesting four tournaments, culminating in an invitation for all teams to compete at the inaugural Q7s State Cup — where the state’s most talented schoolgirl teams will battle for top honours.
