Elite schoolboy rugby talent was on full display this week as the Met North Q7s Regional Qualifier officially wrapped up on Wednesday, 29 July.
Teams from across the Metropolitan North region converged for a high-stakes day of competition. At stake was a coveted spot in the upcoming Santos Q7s State Cup. That final tournament will take place in just over a month's time at the Brisbane Grammar School playing fields in Northgate.
Organisers extended their gratitude and congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and support staff whose dedication made the regional qualifier a resounding success.
Tournament Champions
Three schools rose above the pack to claim regional championship glory and secure their places in the State Cup:
- Under 14 Boys: North Lakes State College
- Under 16 Boys: Kelvin Grove State College
- Under 18 Boys: Genesis Christian College
The countdown now begins for these three champions as they prepare to test themselves against Queensland's best teams in Northgate.
