The local Brisbane north Cath Ed school rugby community descended on the GPS Rugby Club last Wednesday, 17 June, for a thrilling day of fast-paced action at the Brisbane North Catholic Education 7s tournament.

The event marked the highly anticipated fourth leg of the five-stage series. A massive contingent of 55 teams representing 16 different schools took to the fields, creating a vibrant atmosphere and a jam-packed tournament draw.

Spectators were treated to an exceptional display of skill, speed, and teamwork. Outstanding performances were witnessed across all age groups, with players demonstrating immense grit and sportsmanship in every match. The fierce yet friendly competition highlighted the growing talent pool within the region's Catholic education network.

The success of the day was heavily supported by the hosts, GPS Rugby Club. Organizers extended a massive thank you to the club for their outstanding hospitality. In particular, the tireless canteen staff pulled off a monumental effort to keep the hungry crowds fueled, serving more than 200 kilograms of hot chips throughout the event.
