James Horwill
James Horwill, QRU#1184 and Wallaby#819, was capped 116 times for Queensland and 62 times for Australia, captaining both.
He led the Reds to their memorable 2011 Super Rugby championship and captained the Wallabies in his first Rugby World Cup in 2011 and in the 2013 series against the British and Irish Lions. He played four seasons with Harlequins in the English Premiership, his last two as captain, and played for the victorious Cambridge team in the 2019 Varsity Game while completing his Master of Business Administration at Queens College.
He is currently Group General Manager - Sales & Marketing at EGR Automotive, a Queensland firm which is a global leader in the automotive accessories industry. James is Chair of the QRU’s Rugby Committee.
