Regional Rugby Manager – North Queensland

The Regional Rugby Manager (RRM) are primarily responsible for the delivery of the QRU Strategic Plan 2026-30.

The RRM is the primary contact for QRU affiliates within their region and will work collaboratively with these affiliates to deliver aligned outcomes.

RRMs are supported by a network of employed Enablers who are content specialists in focus areas.

• Complete the association Strategic Plan with support of Club Development
• Establish a club governance and compliance community of practice network
• Regional Facility Plan in line with the State Facility Plan program
• Girls Can Tackle Anything program development
• Planning for increased capacity and capability in the 2026 Spring Junior club season
• Establishment of a Schools' Advisory Group

• Support for TDRU Strategic Plan implementation Year 1
• Support for regional clubs at Burdekin, Charters Towers and Ingham
• Deadly 7s Program and establishment of a NQ Schoolgirls 7s Series

• Governance and compliance in association with Club Development
• Facility strategy
• Competition and program planning for changing community needs
