Sylvan Road will play host to the Queensland Premier Rugby Lower Grade Grand Finals tomorrow, with silverware on offer from 9:00am.

Let’s take a look at all the action.

Second Grade
Souths v Brothers | 4:30pm

Souths will come into this one with plenty of confidence after accounting for Brothers 48-28 in the major-semi final a fortnight ago.

Brothers bounced back to defeat GPS 31-12 in the preliminary final, lock Michael Wood scoring a double.

In their three matches this season, the two sides have each won, lost and drawn once, meaning this one could come down to the wire as the Magpies look to make it back-to-back Second Grade premierships.

Third Grade
Brothers v Easts | 3:00pm

Third Grade is one of two finals that Brothers will face the Tigers at Toowong tomorrow.

The Brethren were too strong for Easts in the major semi-final, running out 28-22 winners, before the Tigers defeated Souths in dramatic fashion, a late score keeping their season alive.

Brothers are also shooting for back-to-back titles in Third Grade in front of what should be a strong crowd for the butcher’s stripes.

Fourth Grade
Easts v Brothers | 1:30pm

Easts secured a spot in the Fourth Grade Grand Final with a narrow 16-13 win over Uni in the major semi-final, while Brothers advanced to the preliminaries with a narrow win over last year’s winners GPS.

The Brethren stamped their ticket to the decider in dramatic fashion the week following, a late intercept try sealing a memorable win over minor premiers UQ.

Both sides have beaten each other in 2022 and will need to be at their best at Sci-Fleet Stadium.

Fifth Grade
Souths v Easts | 12:00pm

Easts can avenge their narrow loss in last year’s Fifth Grade Grand Final when they take on Souths tomorrow.

The Tigers have qualified for the decider the hard way, claiming dramatic two-point wins over Wests and UQ in the minor semi-final and preliminary final.

Souths were too good for UQ in a low-scoring major semi-final, and will be fresh from a week off, although the Magpies have not been able to defeat Easts in 2022, falling to a loss and draw against the Tigers.

Colts 2
Brothers v University of Queensland | 10:30am

Brothers and UQ shared the premiership in last year’s Colts 2 competition, but they’ll get the chance to settle that score in a Grand Final rematch this weekend.

Minor premiers Brothers were too strong for the Students in the major semi-final, but the Heavies bounced back in fine fashion with a 22-17 win over Souths last Saturday at Norths.

These two great rivals have both claimed victory in their meetings this year, with another tight encounter expected at Wests.

Colts 3
Brothers v University of Queensland | 9:00am

Brothers and Uni will also go toe-to-toe in the Colts 3 Grand Final, the first match of the day at Toowong.

The Brethren claimed the minor premiership and went straight through to the Grand Final courtesy of a 23-14 win over Souths in the major semi-final.

UQ, who finished fourth after the regular season, proved too strong for Wests and Souths the last two weeks to get the chance to lift the trophy this season.
