This weekend, Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1, Ballymore Stadium will once again host the Queensland Premier Rugby Grand Finals.
Across both days, teams from seven of the QPR’s nine clubs will compete for the ultimate prize. In all, six games will take place on the Saturday, with three marquee fixtures – the StoreLocal Premier Women, Colts 1, and StoreLocal Hospital Cup deciders – are staged on the Sunday.
If you plan on heading to Ballymore this weekend, keep up with the key information ahead of the event.
In 2024, ticketing is required for both the Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets on Saturday are just $10 for adults, $5 for concession and free for juniors (aged 5 to 17). All seats at Ballymore Stadium are general admission on the Saturday.
On Sunday, the iconic XXXX Hill remains general admission while the new McLean Stand and lower terrace of the eastern stand are all reserved seating. Seating begins as low as $20 for adults, $15 for concessions and free for juniors (aged 5-17).
Accessibility patrons can still get in on the action by selecting that category on the Ticktek website.
Purchase your tickets early to save money as box office prices on the day will increase on the day and before the event sells out.
With temperatures set to exceed 35 degrees this weekend, you can experience the StoreLocal Hospital Cup Final in Ballymore’s finest matchday setting, the luxury glass fronted Murrayfield Room.
With an unrivalled social atmosphere and elevated air-conditioned view of Field 1, your ticket includes access to this exclusive first-class facility, plus a substantial premium canapé food service.
Open from 12.30pm-5.30pm for the Colts and First Grade Finals, drinks can be purchased directly inside The Murrayfield Room via the dedicated and fully staffed bar.
Tickets available online here via Ticketek.
Gates open 9:00am on Saturday and 10:30am on Sunday.
Onsite parking is not permitted at Ballymore Stadium on either the Saturday and Sunday without a designated parking permit meaning patrons should plan their trip ahead of time.
Our partners at the Queensland University of Technology have offered $5.00 all-day parking at the Sports Lane Car Park at QUT Kelvin Grove. From there, a dedicated event loop bus will be operating on the Sunday. Otherwise, Ballymore is just a short walk away.
For public transport, plan your trip accordingly via Translink for the most up-to-date information on your route.
Onsite disabled parking will be available for patrons who are displaying their disability parking permit. To apply for disabled parking, please email: membership.support@reds.rugby

Please note the upper tier of the Eastern Stand is off limits.
Ballymore Stadium will be well serviced by numerous food and beverage options throughout Grand Final weekend at several locations around the precinct.
All food and beverage options are operated and serviced by the Queensland Cricketers' Club staff and are reasonably priced.
To ease queues and speed up bar service, drink tokens will be available at two locations around the precinct where patrons can get to the bar faster via tokens express lanes. Patrons must purchase drinks tokens using credit card only from the tokens desks inside the precinct.
There will be speciality options to elevate the grand final days. On the eastern side of the ground, American Diner, Gordons Pink Gin Marquee and XXXX Gold Mezzanine Bar will be operating.
The Western Lawn, outside the cafe, will be the place to relax and chill out with food trucks, pop-up bars and tunes, featuring local artist Peko.
