Get into Rugby Walla Coordinators
Get into Rugby Walla is a Rugby Australia approved program for participants aged 4 and 5 years. Centres must be approved for registration against a range of quality assurance criteria.
Venue: 35m x 50m per group
Max Group Size: 24 participants
Program Length: 6 sessions minimum
Session Length: 45 minutes
Coordinator: Employed/contracted
Staffing: Current Game Activator accredited
Equipment: 1 ball per player (provided); 60 cones; 1 tag belt per player; 12 bibs
Connect with and network with other approved GiR Walla Coordinators across the Rugby Community. Your Regional Rugby Manager or the GiR State Program Manager can connect you into the WhatsApp Community of Practice group where we will facilitate:
- Communication and discussion
- Sharing resources and materials
- Foster a sense of community
- Driving best practice
- Game Activator accreditation via the Rugby Australia LMS
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid + HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Working with children blue card or exemption card
Your Regional Rugby Manager or the GiR State Program Manager will provide you with the relevant assets to facilitate promotion of your centre in conjunction with the affiliated association, school or club.
