The Australia U18s have claimed first blood with a 81-48 win over New Zealand Secondary School in Canberra.
The Aussies took bragging rights in 2024 after a memorable win away from home in Hamilton.
Kingsley Uys, Heinz Lemoto and captain Angus Grover are among several returning stars from that match.
Meanwhile, the Kiwis will be looking to start the two-Test series strong after proving victorious in their warm-up game before their trip to Australia.
The two sides will also face off on Saturday in Canberra, hours before the second Bledisloe Cup.
