This Sunday will see the second round of the Next Gen Sevens tournament take place at Forshaw Rugby Park in Sydney, with all three sides will be out to impress following an evenly-matched first round of the tournament two weekends ago.
Hosts NSW Waratahs, led by their star from the first round Darcy Tuinui who scored three tries, will open the day’s action at 9.30am against the ACT Brumbies.

The ACT side will hope that Bonnie Brewer, their bright spark from the first round, can continue her good form from the first round in which she scored two tries.
The Waratahs will bounce straight into the second match of the day, against the Queensland Reds. They will be hoping to avenge a tight defeat in the first round, where the Reds pipped them 19-15, with Tahlia Devine scoring the pivotal try for the women in maroon.
Reds’ star Taleah Ackland will also be full of confidence and a key player to watch, with her output in the first round of the tournament including a try against the Waratahs.
Following their opening match against the Waratahs, the Reds will take on the Brumbies at 12.30pm. The matches between these two were split one apiece in the first round, with both being high-scoring and full of exciting rugby.
At 2pm, the Waratahs will take on the Brumbies and then play their second match against the Reds of the day to close out the round at 3.30pm.
It promises to be another round of intriguing Sevens rugby, with the three teams desperate to gain momentum as they build towards the business end of the tournament.
