RECAP: Day 1 of the Buildcorp Australian Schools and Junior Rugby Union (ASJRU) Championships has wrapped up at Sunshine Coast Stadium and Kawana Sports Precinct.

2025 marks the first time ever Australia's best school and junior talent have together for this week-long event comprising 49 teams - here's everything you need to know about the tournament.

Monday saw the U18 boys' teams in action across two divisions - the Australian Schools Rugby Union (ASRU) and the National Junior Rugby Championships (NJRC).

New South Wales dominated the day's play with all four NSW teams picking up wins while Queensland 1, South Australia and Victoria also enjoyed early success at Sunshine Coast Stadium and Kawana Sports Precinct.
