About QRU
Here at Queensland Rugby Union we are proud, active and committed to helping within the wider Queensland Community. Our goal is to promote and partner with charities, schools, events or community groups to help achieve their optimal goal whether it be fundraising, awareness or attendance.
Requests for assistances are welcomed with each one being assessed individually. We do receive a large volume of charity and player appearance requests each year. In order to manage these requests, we require the applicant to complete the relevant Charity and/or Player Appearance request form which can be downloaded below and sent back to redsmembership@redsrugby.com.au. While Queensland Rugby Union would love to assist all the great causes out there, we cannot accommodate every application/request due to limited resources including players’ time.
In order to be successful with your provided request, we require at a minimum, one (1) months’ notice. Within each form there are also relevant criteria’s that must be met for your request to be successful.
If you do not receive a response from the Queensland Reds or Queensland Rugby, you should assume your request has not met the Criteria and has been denied. Those who are otherwise unsuccessful will be advised accordingly; Donated merchandise cannot be used for any other purpose other than that stated on the application letter or re-sold for any individual’s profit; Queensland Rugby’s decision is final.
